I am just plain LolaAnn on FF.net and AO3 (that was obviously taken here). In case you're curious. The real Lola was a dog. A very awesome lab mix that was with me for 11 years. So, decided to pay homage to her by using her as my penname.
Joined lj just so I could participate in a ficathon challenge, but after a period of adjustment, I decided I loved it here! It's so much more interactive & communal than your basic archive site. In fact, there are things I write here that may never make it to a traditional archive site, because I feel a little more free to experiment here.
Not much that's too interesting to say about me. I'm married and we have five beautiful, yet unusually furry (and sometimes smelly) children. I work in software, but can't see myself doing that for the rest of my life. Guess I need a plan for when I grow up.
As far as friending goes: If you friend me and I recognize you, I'll most likely friend you back. But I'm rather shy about making that first move myself. *shrugs sheepishly* Sadly, this tendency has resulted in me being a labeled a 'snob' by some, especially in my school years. People who know me always find that rather funny. I'm very down-to-earth and a little too silly to be snobby.
My fandom talents (if you want to call them that) lie in writing. I have no artistic skill whatsoever as far as fanart goes. Most of what I write tends to lean towards humor, but every now and then I get a little serious. As far as what you'll find here - mostly SPN fanfic. Although there are some Buffy crossovers and soon to be a few other fandom xovers as well. Aside from my Buffy crossover series, which is het, most of my stuff is gen.
